How Our Network Works

Who you talk to

Percentagechaos Garage Doors is a referral service. When you reach out, we connect you with an independent garage door provider in our network. The provider is a separate business. They speak with you about the door, set up a visit and give the quote.

What the provider will likely ask

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider come prepared.

  • What is the door doing? Is it stuck, noisy, crooked or slow?
  • Did you hear a loud bang before it stopped?
  • Is the door open or closed right now?
  • How old is the door, if you know?
  • What is your address?

If you can, snap a photo. It may help.

Questions to ask the provider

You have the right to ask anything. Here are some good starters:

  • Will I get a written quote before work begins?
  • Does the quote include parts and labor?
  • Is repair enough, or do you suggest replacement? Why?
  • Are you licensed and insured where I live?
  • Is there a warranty on parts or work?
  • How soon can you come out?

A good provider will answer these without fuss.

A safety note

Garage door springs and cables hold strong tension. Please do not try to fix them yourself. Keep people and pets away from a stuck door.

If the door is off its track or a spring has snapped, leave it alone. Do not force it up or down. Wait for the provider to look at it.

The decision is yours

A visit does not mean you must say yes. Look at the quote. Ask about other options. Take your time. Know, then choose.
